Refund Policy

Returns

At Elegant Drapes, each saree is individually sourced and carefully inspected before dispatch.

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products and limited inventory, we do not accept returns for:

  • Change of mind
  • Colour preference differences arising from screen settings
  • Personal styling preferences
  • Occasion cancellations
  • Minor handloom irregularities inherent to handcrafted textiles

Eligible Return Scenarios

A return or replacement may be requested only if:

  • An incorrect product was delivered
  • The product received is significantly different from the item ordered
  • The product arrives damaged during transit

Any issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Reporting an Issue

To initiate a return request, please email support@elegantdrapes.com with:

  • Order number
  • Clear photographs of the product
  • Photographs of the shipping package (if damaged)
  • Brief description of the issue

Requests submitted after 48 hours of delivery may not be eligible for review.

Refunds

Once the issue has been reviewed and approved:

  • A replacement product may be offered where available.
  • If a replacement is unavailable, a refund will be processed.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after approval.

Handcrafted Textile Disclaimer

Handloom sarees may naturally exhibit:

  • Slight variations in weave
  • Minor irregularities in texture
  • Small differences in zari placement
  • Variations in dye absorption
  • Hand-finished edges

These are characteristics of authentic handcrafted textiles and are not considered defects.

Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled only before dispatch.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation requests cannot be accommodated.
